We at the municipality's payroll center are looking for an engaged and knowledgeable payroll consultant to our team within payroll administration. Our unit consists of 26 employees organized into two specialized teams: payroll administration and schedule support. The payroll center is located in pleasant premises at Luleå service center.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a payroll consultant at Luleå Municipality, you will play a key role in ensuring that our employees receive the right salary on time. You are an expert in payroll administration and work both independently and together with colleagues to ensure that our payroll processes are smooth, correct, and efficient.

In your daily work, you will:

• Provide advice and support to managers and employees on payroll issues.
• Handle payroll matters and ensure they are followed up professionally.
• Contribute to the development and improvement of our working methods and routines within the payroll area.
• Work closely with the operations and be an important part of our work with quality and service.

We are looking for someone with good experience in payroll administration, who is solution-oriented and enjoys working in a changing environment where you can influence.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with a post-secondary education in payroll, such as a vocational training program with a focus on payroll consulting, or an equivalent education that we consider suitable for the role.

You have both theoretical and practical experience of work processes within payroll, HR, and personnel administration. Knowledge and experience of payroll systems, Visma Personec P, and municipal agreements (AB) are advantageous.
